How technology will change the way learning looks in the future.
We can see that classrooms have changed dramatically over just the last 20 years. Where there used to be larger libraries in schools there are now computer labs. Where teachers had to schedule appoints with parents to discuss grades there are now online tools such as Blackboard where parents can not just keep up with there students grades at the end of the semester but can watch on every assignment and email teachers with any concerns. I believe one of the largest changes in education is the options of online classes where there is less interaction with professors.
Education must keep up with the most current technology to be able to produce alumni who will succeed and not be behind. I believe that the classrooms of the not far away future will have computers at every desk and that handwriting will begin to become worse if not given a class. I believe that the learning of the past had students wrinting with pens and paper, now almost everything needs to be typed and cursive handwriting will actually have to have a class because students aren't writing.
Technology gives students access to so much more information and if we learn how to decifer which websites are the most accurate and which are not then we will have one of the most educated populations. In closing I think that in the future that technology will have completly changed the types of classrooms we grew up into something we will hardly recognize.
